For the last 40 years science fiction movies have been showing a future filled with holograms, and I think a lot of people want to know how much of this is real? How much of this can we actually do today? Well for all computer generated holograms you need to have some sort of glasses and only one person can see them at a time!
If I look at the front and you look at the back of hologram, The computer doesn’t know which view to make for which person! So part of the reason why you’re not seeing them around is they’re not very useful when only one person can use them.

To get around this problem, billions of dollars was invested into virtual reality, and augmenting reality helmets . Because these helmets actually put screens in front of your eyes, now lots of people can stand around in ordinary wooden table and all see the same things so they can do planning of events of new products. So problem solved! Will for some people it was! but not for everybody. You see the media tells us that we all must love virtual reality, but not everybody does.
You see eyes can’t focus on things that are too close to your head. And so virtual reality helmets have to stick out quite far. It’s because of this. Some of them are quite big and to stop them from falling off your head, they have to have a great big strap around the back and some of them have great big straps over the top as well.

this co-working would help them to find where people really do like wearing virtual reality helmets as they all do their planning together. Now it is sure that virtual reality and augmented reality is the future for humanity.
But it is not sure that putting screens over our eyes really is the best way forward. There are other ways.
A hologram table! The computer makes these 3D objects out of light and can project them up to 60 centimeters high. They can also sink down into the table about a meter. The computer makes these by coordinating little theoretical atoms of light. It does this with trillions of them and works out their position in relation to your view. We’ve also solved the problem of only one person being able to see a computer trapped hologram.
So now people can discuss and plan together.
